I am a strategic communications professional with over a decade of experience in the energy sector. I currently serve as an External Relations specialist at Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), one of Africa’s foremost energy companies. My career at NLNG has spanned multiple functions, including Local Content, Corporate Communications, and Government Relations, which has deepened my capacity for cross-functional communication, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.
Prior to joining the corporate sector, I began my career in academia, focusing on Ethical Theory with an emphasis on sustainability. This foundation continues to shape my approach to communication, which is anchored in clarity, accountability, and long-term impact.
My role at NLNG involves crafting high-level messaging, managing relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, and supporting strategic initiatives that advance the organisation’s brand and license to operate. I have also contributed to internal campaigns aimed at culture change and safety performance.
I hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and am a certified Communication Management Professional (CMP) through IABC. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Analytics to further enhance my ability to drive data-informed communication strategies.
I strive to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring that communication is not only heard but also felt, and that it delivers measurable value.
