This session is a MUST for people who want to sit for CMP and SCMP certification.
Ethics and communication – it can get you into trouble, but it can also prove your value…
At the heart of many catastrophic corporate failures sits ethical issues and, more often than not, the way the message was communicated.
The first step to handle it is to better understand ethics and what it means to each of us within the IABC global standard.
And where better to explore than in a safe and fun environment on Friday, 12th March 2021 from 13:00 – 14:00?
This session will be hosted by Jane Mitchell, FRSA
Jane’s career began at the BBC in London, which she escaped to produce award-winning corporate films and then developed ground breaking employee engagement programmes. She has been JL&M since 2006 where she advises organisations, (some of whom have experienced cultural trauma), how to engage meaningfully with values and ethics. Her passion with clients is to help them connect dots and understand what it means to have demonstrable conduct at the top that supports the corporate tone and messages. Words on their own, put simply, are not enough.
She has worked with a number of organisations, large and small including Anglo American, Serco, BP, Tesco, Q8, Rolls-Royce, Airbus and non-profits including EAIE and GMAC.
Jane has been a member of IABC since 2008 and held leadership roles on Chapter, Regional and the International Board. She was the Chair of the Association’s Ethics Task Force and is currently Chair of the 2021 World Conference.
